How to maintain your oilskin;
Clean your jacket with a dry cloth, then rub the area you wish to impregnate with a thin layer of wax. Let the wax absorb for 15-20 minutes. If you feel it's still a bit sticky on the surface, you can use a hairdryer to gently heat the wax until it becomes completely soft. Let it absorb again, then wipe off any excess wax with a dry cloth. Avoid pressing the wax into the material; wipe gently – and your jacket will be like new again.
