Roskilde – a city with plenty of water
In 1988, we opened a store in Roskilde. Roskilde is a city with a very high number of anglers relative to its population. So when we got the chance, we opened a small shop in a basement. In Roskilde, there was a real need for a good tackle shop, so the space quickly became too small, and we had to move to new premises again. Today, we are located in a beautiful shop at Køgevej 3, close to the station and the Holbæk motorway. These premises house the shop, administration, and warehouse. It is also in Roskilde that we have our workshop, where we handle repairs of everything from rods, reels, holes in waders, etc. At the same time, we service reels – something many of our customers have fortunately started doing in recent years. If you take care of your gear, reels, and rods, and have them cleaned and lubricated occasionally, they will last much longer. We also have a large spare parts inventory, so we can help customers who have been unlucky with their gear, or people with older reels that they wish to maintain. We also repair lots of rods – so if the guides on your rod are defective, don't discard it; it can be like new again. In recent years, we have expanded the regular shop with a large section for used tackle. Far too many people have tackle lying around that they don't use – we believe others can benefit from it just as well. So, if you have tackle lying around that you don't use, bring it to us; maybe we can make a trade, or buy it from you. In our used section, you can find new and old items, so if you're a collector, there might also be good chances to find something exciting for your collection. We are happy to buy larger lots or estate clearances, so give us a call if you have gear you want to get rid of.
