Ordering

 

Orders are placed via www.janogbo.dk

You will automatically receive an order confirmation for your order via email, which also contains information about return and complaint rights. When we dispatch your item, you will receive an invoice by email and a notification that the item has been shipped. You can always find the current sales and delivery terms on this page.
We reserve the right for sold-out items, typographical errors, system errors, and any changes in duties/taxes.

Delivery / Delivery Time
Under normal circumstances, you will receive your order within 1-3 business days. If we cannot meet this, you will be contacted to confirm if you still wish to have the order delivered.

We only send packages with GLS, and you have the option to choose Private Delivery, Delivery to a ParcelShop, or Delivery to a Business Address.

 

Payment

 

All prices on the website are stated in Danish kroner and include VAT and all Danish duties, customs, etc.

Payment can be made by credit card or via MobilePay.

The following cards can be used for payment: Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa/Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners.

Payment is only processed when the item is packed and dispatched by us.



Exchange Service

 

All items purchased on the webshop can be fitted with an exchange label (note in comments) and/or an exchange receipt and can be exchanged in our physical Jan & Bo’s Lystfiskershop store in Roskilde, subject to applicable exchange rules.



Right of Withdrawal

 

According to Danish law, you always have a 14-day right of return from the date of receipt. For orders where delivery, at the customer's request, takes place at a later time, we extend the deadline until the recipient has received their gift – meaning you can safely buy your gifts well in advance, as the recipient can always return the item up to 14 days after it has been received. However, the right of return requires that the item is returned in the same condition as when received, in original and undamaged packaging, and in unused condition. This allows www.janogbo.dk to resell the item without problems. As the original packaging represents a not insignificant value for www.janogbo.dk, the item cannot be considered to have been returned in substantially the same condition and quantity if the original packaging is missing or damaged.

 

Along with the item, please include a copy of the purchase invoice and write your bank details, and we will return your credit as soon as we have received your item and verified that it meets the conditions for the right of withdrawal. See the return address below. You cannot, of course, receive more than the amount stated on the invoice. If you have regretted your purchase or need to exchange your item, you must pay the shipping costs for the return to our address yourself; however, you can purchase a return label on our webshop, which in most cases will be cheaper than what you would pay if you bought one at a ParcelShop, see more here;. Items sent to Jan & Bo´s Lystfiskershop by cash on delivery will be refused acceptance.

For gifts, please note that refunds will always be made to the person who purchased the item.

Your money will be refunded as soon as possible after we have received the returned item and verified that it meets the conditions for the right of withdrawal. Alternatively, you can exchange your item at Jan & Bo´s physical store within the 14-day deadline. Remember to bring your invoice. You will not be able to receive cash when returning in our physical store. If you wish to receive a cash refund when visiting the physical store, this can only be done by us reversing the payment made during the original webshop purchase. Please note that if it is a gift, the amount will be returned to the original buyer. You can always, within the return period, exchange your purchase for another or other items in the physical store.

IF YOU DO NOT PICK UP YOUR PACKAGE

If you do not pick up your package within the deadline, GLS will automatically return the package to us. This is a significant cost for us when this happens, and therefore we charge a fee of DKK 125 for uncollected packages. This amount will be deducted from the amount you are to receive back for the returned items. We also charge a handling fee of DKK 75 for managing uncollected packages.



Complaints

 

In case of defects or deficiencies in the item, you can complain to the email, address, or phone number below. You have a 2-year right of complaint. For complaints made later than 6 months after purchase, the buyer must prove that the defect was present at the time of purchase. Items should be returned to the address below. You can also complain by visiting Jan & Bo´s physical store. However, it is a prerequisite that these defects or deficiencies have not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior that caused the defect. Our suppliers reserve the right to review and check alleged defects in the product.

You must complain within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or defect. 

We reserve the right to remedy a defect/replace it with an undamaged item rather than refunding the purchase price. This means your item will be repaired, or you will receive a new item as a replacement for the one complained about, provided your complaint is justified. See return address below.



Limitation of Liability

 

We reserve the right for price increases, changes in duties, currency fluctuations, sold-out/discontinued items, and typographical errors. Prices are only valid in Denmark, excluding Greenland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands.

 


Choice of Law and Venue

Any dispute shall be settled under Danish law by the ordinary courts.



Personal Data Policy

 

When you shop at www.janogbo.dk, you must register with the following information: name, address, email, and phone number. Personal data is only registered with www.janogbo.dk and stored for 5 years, after which the information is deleted.

 

All information is encrypted.

 

When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that it always happens with your explicit consent, so you are informed exactly what information is collected and why. We register your personal data for the purpose of being able to deliver the item to you.

 

As a registered user of www.janogbo.dk, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to access the information registered about you. These rights are granted by the Personal Data Act, and inquiries in this regard should be directed to www.janogbo.dk via email: mail@janogbo.dk

 

www.janogbo.dk is the data controller for the registration of personal data.
