Staying warm and comfortable is important. That's why we introduce our "body mapping". We have researched how the body works when casting and/or exercising in general, and what the different parts of the body need. Based on our findings, we have developed WizWool 150 with two fabrics that work together and are tailored for outdoor activities.
The purpose of WizWool 150 is to improve comfort by wicking moisture away from the skin.
In combination with our mid-layer products, WizWool 150 helps regulate your body temperature regardless of weather type.
WizWool 150 is a soft, breathable, odor-reducing merino wool garment with a very durable synthetic exterior.
A functional base layer made with the healthiest fibers, providing a milder skin contact and allowing for unique sweat and heat transfer.
Flat seam construction reduces irritation when wearing multiple layers over WizWool. WizWool fits close to the skin and is a good layer for moisture management during fishing, among other activities.
Fabric
WizWool 150 contains 2 types of fabric:
1. Polartec® Powergrid fabric:
A geometric construction to generate targeted touchpoints with a patented bi-component design.
This means that the surface absorbs sweat vapor and transfers it to the outside for efficient evaporation.
In addition, the grid design also creates open-air channels that greatly improve breathability.
2. Polartec® Power Wool™:
A revolutionary, bi-component knit fabric that combines the best of both natural and synthetic fibers – entirely without blending.
The industry standard of blending wool and synthetic yarns together often hinders greater performance qualities in each material. Power Wool™'s advanced knit construction places each different fiber where it can work to its highest potential.
This hybrid design is made with a soft, odor-reducing, merino wool base and a very durable synthetic exterior.

3. Italian Merino Blends:
Delivers classic close-to-skin comfort and warmth. Comfortable, odor-resistant, durable, and retains warmth when wet. The synthetic component increases durability and prevents wool from shrinking.
Advanced synthetics on the outer surface of Polartec® Power Wool™ transfer moisture while enhancing durability and robustness.
Merino wool in Power Wool's patented bi-component knit optimizes the base layer's performance in various conditions and activity levels.
Use
