Ugly Stick originally made antennas for the American military, and they were quite good at it. Later, it was discovered that these durable antennas could also be turned into incredibly strong fishing rods. The GX2 series is an upgrade of a rod series that has existed for many, many years. They are not the lightest, nor the fastest or finest rods on the market, but in terms of durability and strength, no one can beat them.
